Microsoft has finally unleashed its latest gaming console XBox One X that has been priced at $499 (or roughly Rs. 32,000) and will start shipping globally from November 7 onwards.

The new XBox One X will be backward compatible with all existing XBox One accessories and Xbox 360 titles and XBox One games. The new console has 4K and HDR support and will use super sampling to make games look better on 1080p TVs.

The One X uses a custom GPU that’s clocked at 1172MHz, significantly higher than One S and PS 4 Pro. Microsoft has also added a liquid cooled gas chamber inside, which is something that we usually get to see only in high-end PCs. The XBox One x will be able to run 900p and 1080p Xbox One games at native 4K, and existing games will benefit from performance boost.

It can produce 6 teraflops of graphic power, which is noticeably ahead of the 4.2 Teraflops on its arch rival PlayStation 4 Pro. The XBox One X will also include 1TB of storage, 12GB GDDR5 RAM, and a 4K BlueRay drive for enhanced multimedia experience.

On the outside, the design is very similar to the last generation XBox One S, but the One X10 is a bit more compact.

At the launch, Microsoft will have 22 titles as console launch exclusives, including Crackdown 3, Forza Motorsport 7, and Sea of Thieves that will run at 4K resolution and 60 fps.

The XBox One is currently the most expensive gaming console at $499, but it’s also the most powerful one around. Let’s see how it compares to Sony’s Playstation 4 Pro.
