The last generation of Mi band is aging now as it was announced two years back. Last year, Xiaomi announced its stripped down version named as Mi Band HRX Edtion (this one lacked heart rate sensor). Other brands like Huawei and Intex, tried to replicate Xiaomi’s model by launching wearables under Rs 2,000 but failed to match its success.
With Xiaomi having a dream run in the Indian market, we expect Xiaomi to introduce its Mi band 3 in India soon. Like the Redmi Note 5 Pro, we could hope that it will land in India first even before its launch in China.
