In recent few week serious concerns have been raised EV safety with several fire incidents reported. Now another incident has came in to light where 20 electric scooters from Jitendra EV have burst into fire. Another incident of an Okinawa e-bike caught fire in Tamil Nadu was reported.

Jeetendra EV, an indigenous EV company, has its factory in Nashik and the incident took place right outside the premise gate when around 40 electric scooters were transported in a truck and upper tier caught fire.

The company has acknowledged the incident and has initiated a probe to find the reason behind the EV fire accident. It's good that no harm has been done to anybody.
In another news, an electric scooter from the Okinawa brand has been reported to catch fire in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. Here is the latest video of the event.
In the viral video, the electric scooter seems to be parked at roadside and a person fiercely pulled out the battery pack outside the EV using a rod.
