It seems like Ola is under the radar once again as an Ola S1 Pro e-scooter faces some software glitch and runs in reverse mode. A video has gone viral where the wheel is running at 90kmph in backward rotation.
If you don't know, the e-scooter can run in reverse mode at the push of a button. The S1 Pro incident arises software reliability concerns which could prove fatal if it happens on road.
In the viral video, the Ola S1 Pro is lying horizontally on a floor while its rear wheel is accelerating at an alleged speed of 90kmph. Though the location and source of the video is still unknown. Watch the video in next slide.
Ola S1 Pro packs a 3.97kWh battery, 8.5kW motor and offers a top speed of 115kmph with a claimed range of 181km. It accelerates from zero to 40kmph in 3 seconds.
