Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 was launched last year creating a great demand in India. Now Vivo has unveiled its first foldable phone Vivo X Fold to beat the Fold 3 . Let's compare their features.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 sports an armoured aluminium frame, has an IPX8 rating, and sports Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the screen. While the build quality of Vivo X Fold is also good which has zirconium metal for the hinge and it is also TUV certified for 3,00,000 times fold.

The main screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with a 7.6-inch QXGA and external 6.2-inch HD+ resolution while the Vivo X Fold has an 8-inches primary and 6.53-inches external screens. Both the phones have AMOLED panels and 120Hz refresh rate.



Galaxy Z Fold 3 offers Snapdragon 888 5nm chipset, while Vivo X Fold arrives with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and that too at a much lower price.

Android 12 is present in both the foldable smartphones where Galaxy Z Fold 3 has OneUI 4.1 and Vivo X Fold has OriginOS. Among them, OneUI is better and simple, though the rest depends on one's preference.


Galaxy Fold has triple rear cameras including 12MP+12MP+12MP sensors. There is a 10MP front camera and a 4MP under-display camera. Vivo's phone has four cameras with 50+48+12+8MP sensors and 16MP selfie camera.


Vivo X Fold packs a 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. While Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a slightly smaller 4400mAh battery with less faster 25W wired and 10W wireless charging support.
