Upcoming Tata Motors electric cars

Tata EV unit is reported to invest Rs 15,000 crore in India with an objective to manufacture 10 new electric vehicles by 2025. Here is the list of seven upcoming electric cars that are in pipeline.

The upcoming Nexon EV MAX is anticipated to be equipped with a larger 40kWh battery to offer an improved range of 400km. While the 2021 Nexon EV has a smaller 30.2kWh battery pack for 312km of range.

1. Tata Nexon EV MAX (Long Range)

The upcoming Tigor EV is expected to come with rechristened chassis and a better suspension-braking system to go with the body weight. It could pack a new battery pack for a 365km to 400km range

2. 2022 Tata Tigor EV

Tata Altroz EV will be built on ALPHA-ARC platform which handles both ICE and electric powertrains efficiently. It is said to offer 300km range and will follow its ICE counterpart's design with a few upgrades.

3. Tata Altroz EV

Tata Punch EV will arrive with the tag of affordable electric SUV and is hinted to be in works by the company officials. It could debut in India by the end of 2022. 

4. Tata Punch EV

The Tata Sierra EV concept was shown back at the Auto Expo 2020 based on Impact 2.0 design philosophy. The rear portion of the SUV EV will be embodied with a glass roof extended to the sides with no modern tech inside.

5. Tata Sierra

Tata Curvv EV concept is all set to debut first as an electric car and later with ICE engines. It is said to offer a range of 400-500km and will come with host of futuristic design language.

6. Tata Curvv EV

Tata Avinya EV is the latest electric car concept from the brand based on GEN 3 architecture for an all-electric platform. It is claimed to reach a distance range of 500km with 30 minutes of charging.
