Google Pixel 6a and Pixel Buds Pro launch

Google has unveiled the much awaited Pixel 6a and Pixel Buds Pro revealing at its annual developer confrence called I/O 2022. Here is a quick overview on features of these products.

Pixel 6a: Display

The Pixel 6a houses a 6.1-inch FHD+ 60Hz AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The OLED screen features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection layer on top.

Pixel 6a is powered by an octa-core Google Tensor SoC coupled with a Titan M2 security coprocessor, 6GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. It boots on Android 11 and the search giant assures 5 years of security updates.

Pixel 6a: Chipset

The Pixel 6a dual rear camera seup features 12.2MP Sony IMX363 primary camerra and another 12MP ultra-wide sensor. The camera is loaded with features like Magic Eraser, Real Tone, and Face Unblur. It has an 8MP selfie camera. It packs a 4410mAh battery with 18W fast charge support.

Pixel 6a Availability

Google has priced the Pixel 6a at $449 (~₹34,730) and will go on sale from July 21 in the US. The phone is officially confirmed to arrive in India later this year.

Buds Pro comes with a new custom 6-core audio processor with a neural processing engine. Google claims to offer best in class  Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) experince with Buds Pro. It claims to offer up to 11 hours of battery life or 7 hours with ANC turned on.

Pixel Buds Pro is priced at $199 (around ₹15,392) and pre-orders start from July 21 for the US market. The California giant yet to share a word on Pixel Buds Pro arrival in India.
