PAN-Aadhaar Linking Deadline Extended to June 30

Have you linked your PAN with Aadhar? If no, here is a good news. The deadline to link them has been extended to June 30, 2023.

Earlier, the deadline to link your PAN to Aadhar Card was set to 31st March according to Central Board of Direct Taxes Department.

If you fail to link your Aadhaar with PAN by June 30th, the PAN would become inactive and all operations that require a PAN will be stopped.

The penalty fee for linking Aadhaar Card and PAN (Permanent Account Number) Card on the e-filing website is Rs 1000.

You can visit to the official websites of the Income Tax Department of India to link your PAN and Aadhaar Card.

Alternatively, you can message in the UIDPAN format, which is as follows: UIDPAN (space), 12-digit Aadhaar number (space), 10-digit PAN number.

Indian citizens with the age of above 80, non-residents and non-citizens are not required to link PAN and Aadhaar cards.
