Mercedes-Benz VISION EQXX drives to 1000km+ on a single charge and has become the first EV to achieve this milestone. Here's the complete detail.

Mercedes-Benz conducted an independent test to check for the real-world distance range of its VISION EQXX concept electric car which was launched in January 2022. 

As part of the test, journey starts from Sindelfingen, Germany and ends at Cassis in the south of France; traveling in different weather variation from 3° to 18°C temperature.

The VISION EQXX travelled through regular city traffic, steep hill climb, flat surfaces, and odd-even roads at an average speed of 87kmph and gained a top speed of 140kmph.

The VISION EQXX drives to a total of 1008km in 11 hours and 32 minutes on the route with a remaining battery capacity of 15% that can cover a distance of extra 140km.

The battery efficiency of this Mercedes-Benz till the end of journey has been recorded 8.7kWh per 100km which is quite close to the simulated 10kWh per 100km by the company.
