Bikes and Cars to get costlier from 1st April

Several car and bike makers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Honda, Volkswagen and Hero are set to increase prices from 1st April.

The price rise of vehicles will vary from 2% to 5%. The reason of hike will be implementation of BS-6 phase 2 from next month.

Maruti announced on Thursday that the prices of all the company’s vehicles will be increased from April 1, 2023.1st April.

Maruti Suzuki has not yet declared how much the prices will increase, but according to the sources, this increase can vary from Rs 3,000 to Rs 20,000.

Volkswagen India has also announced a price hike across its model ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹36,000 affective from next month.

The prices of Volkswagen Taigun, Volkswagen Virtus, and Volkswagen Tiguan are slated to be increased by upto  2 percent.

Tata Motors will raise the prices of its automobiles once more after raising the price of its vehicles in February this year.

Honda will also increase the price but only on its subcompact sedans. Honda Amaze prices to go up by up to Rs 12,000.

Bikes and scooters will also get expensive from 1st April. Hero Motocorp has announced the 2% hike on ex-showroom prices.
