Here are the 10 highest selling motorcycles and scooters of 2022 in India.
Hero Splendor takes the crown of hightest selling bike of the year so far. Hero has seen 8.3 percent growth in Splender sells year-on-year. Splender has captured 27.32% of the total market share.
Honda Activa stands at second place with a total sale of 17,08,305 units in FY22 so far. It is about 12% lower than the last fiscal year. Activa has manged to capture 17.51% of two-wheeler market share of India.
Hero HF Deluxe completes the top three highest selling bikes in the India. While its sale numbers have gone down by 30%, Hero has managed to sell HF Deluxe 11,65,163 units sale in FY22.
Honda CB Shine isn't far behind HF Deluxe as Honda manages to sold 11,01,684 units of CB Shine in FY22. It has achieved over 11% of YoY growth and is anticipated to outnumber Deluxe in coming quaters.
The Bajaj Pulsar takes the fifth place as its sales number sinks from 9,45,978 in FY21 to 7,77,044 in FY22. Pulsar comes in seven different models varying from 125cc to 250cc.
Platina, another bike from Bajaj secures the sixth place registering a YoY growth of 27.49% in the country. It offers two models including Platina 100 and Platina 110.
TVS Jupiter is the second scooter to make into the list with a sale of 5,04,567 units in FY2022. TVS offers six variants of Jupiter which starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 68,571.
The heavy-duty TVS XL100 moped has registered a sales of 4,73,150 units across the country. Though it has recorded a de-growth of 23% over the two fiscal years.
The Access scooter is the only two-wheeler from Suzuki brand to make it in the top-10 list. It has recorded over 10% growth in sales number in this fiscal year.
Interestingly, TVS Apache has lodged a minor decrease of just 46 units in FY2022 compared to the last FY21 fiscal year.
