A. Vivo Z1 Pro looks modern thanks to its gradient back and punch-hole display upfront. It’s a big and bulky phone (it weighs around 206 grams in our measurement). Gladly, its rounded edges facilitate a good grip. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button.

A. No, it does not. Instead, the phone features a strengthened 2.5D curved glass called as Schott Xensation 3D. Vivo claims that Xensation 3D is better in Scratch protection (not drop protection) than Gorilla Glass 5 and 6 by 8.15%.

A.  Our review unit lacked Widevine L1 support and didn’t support HD streaming on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and the likes. However, the company had announced the support for Widevine L1 during the launch event. Vivo claims that the people who will be buying the devices will get the L1 support.

Q. Can you lock apps using the fingerprint scanner on the Vivo Z1 Pro?

A. Yes, it does feature fingerprint as well Face Recognition based app encryption. You could find the same in the settings under the Fingerprint, face and password section.

Q. What is the battery size on Vivo Z1 Pro? Does it support fast charging? Is the fast charger bundled?

A. Vivo Z1 Pro packs a massive 5000mAh battery that could often last for more than a day, even with extensive gaming. You could refuel the battery with an 18W dual engine fast charging which charges 70% in one hour. Yes, the fast charger is bundled.

Q. How much free storage space does one get on the Vivo Z1 Pro out of the box?

A. Out of the box, we got roughly 52 GB free out of 64GB total storage in our review unit. Rest is consumed by a feature-packed Funtouch OS and the coupled resources.

A. Yes and No as some of the bloatware can be uninstalled while many other default apps remain adamantly baked. Thusly, they can’t be uninstalled.
