Vivo Y17 with Triple camera, 20MP selfie camera and 5000mAh battery launched in India

Vivo discreetly launched its Y17 smartphone in India without much show & pomp. The triple camera phone sports a large display and abundant juice under the hood. Back in December 2018, the Chinese-giant had launched another smartphone by the name NEX Dual Display (review) with three cameras. Y17 is an affordable entrant though.

Upfront, the phone sports a 6.35-inch waterdrop screen with a resolution of 720 x 1544 pixels. The notch houses a 20MP selfie snapper.

On the flip side, the camera department includes a 13MP+8MP+2MP camera setup. There is a LED flash beneath the camera panel.

Vivo Y17 ships with a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the surface, you get FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie.

As for the fuel, the phone depends upon a huge 5000mAh battery with 18W Dual Engine Fast Charging support. Other features equipped are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, FM, and USB-OTG compatibility.

Vivo has priced the Y17 phone at Rs.17,990 ($259) price tag. Currently, you could pre-order on a couple of offline stores across India.
