Vivo Y02 enters the Indian market at less than Rs 10,000

Vivo has released a new smartphone in the Indian market named Vivo Y02. It is a budget smartphone with features like a heavy-duty battery, an average camera, and more. As for the design. Vivo has tried its best to offer a decent design. The rear panel of the smartphone has been left clean by the company, with a rectangular-shaped camera island at the top and the Vivo branding at the bottom left side. The power button and the volume rocker of the device are located at the left spine of the device.

On the front, it has a water drop notch display with thin bezels at the side and a slightly thicker chin. As for the pricing, the Vivo Y02 is available in the Indian market at a price of Rs 8,999. The smartphone is being shipped in two colours, Cosmic Grey and Orchid Blue.

Vivo Y02 specifications

The Vivo Y02 features a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 60Hz standard refresh rate. The screen of the device also includes an eye-protection mode so that you can use it for long hours without any strain on your eyes. The device runs on the MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It measures around 162.99×75.64×8.49mm and weighs around 186 grams. The device operates on the FunTouch OS 12 based on the Android 12 Go operating system.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y02 rocks an 8MP rear sensor and a 5MP front camera. In addition, the rear camera has features like timelapse and face beauty too. The smartphone draws power from a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging support. Connectivity options offered in the phone are Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi 5, 4G VoLTE, GPS, etc.
