X50 Pro+ is Vivo’s new flagship for 2020 and rightfully so it features head-turning specs and goodies. It ships with Snapdragon 865, 5G-capability, and a “gimbal-like” stabilized camera. The last one sounds peculiar, eh?

But, that’s not all. We have 2 more phones from this new lineup viz. the Vivo X50 Pro and a Vivo X50. These are powered by a Snapdragon 765 chipset. The brand claims the vanilla X50 is the slimmest 5G phone at 7.49mm thickness.

That’s cool but, the real headliner is obviously the X50 Pro+. Ergo, let’s peep over its key highlights, followed by price and availability details.

Vivo X50 Pro+ specs

It exhibits a 6.56-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 120Hz punch-hole display. Within that indent lies a 32MP selfie clicker. Pivot to the back and you’d find its snazzy camera deck laid on a faux leather base. The residents are a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens capable of 60x hybrid zoom, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and lastly an 8MP macro module.

Now for the juicy stuff, ie – the gimbal tech. Basically, it employs an on-screen radar that guides the lens’ movement for a stable still or video. BTW, we have seen this implementation within the Vivo Apex 2020 earlier this year. However, this one is the first commercial phone to pull off such a feature.

Moving on, inside the phone, you’ve got a Snapdragon 865, along with 5G modem, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. A 4,315mAh battery keeps the X50 Pro+ up and running with the support from a snappy 45W charger.

Amongst other things, you also get Android 10 based FunTouch OS, an in-display fingerprint scanner, AK4377a Hi-Fi audio chip, USB-C socket, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS.
