Vivo V17 Pro Launched: Snapdragon 675 SoC, AMOLED screen, and dual pop-up camera

The Vivo V17 Pro hasn’t been a very well kept secret and now it is official in India. The markee features of the new V-series poster boy are the cameras – two that pop up on the front and four on the back.

Vivo V17 Pro India price, and launch offers

The Vivo V17 Pro will retail in sole 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage combination for Rs. 29,990. It will be available across Vivo e-shop, Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall, Tata CliQ and other offline stores.

Vivo is offering the V17 Pro in Midnight Ocean and Glacier Ice color options. It is now available for pre-order and will go on sale starting September 27.

As a part of launch offers Vivo announced an additional exchange discount worth Rs. 2,000, and 10 percent cash back for HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank credit cardholders. The V17 Pro launch offer also includes no-cost EMI and free one-time screen replacement.

Vivo V17 Pro features

The Vivo V17 Pro features a 6.44-inch FHD+ screen on the front 20:9 aspect ratio, and 91.65 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display panel is AMOLED-type and has Schott Xensation UP protection on top.

Vivo claims that the screen can go 500 nits bright. The display is also TUV Rheinland certified and cuts out 61 percent blue light. It also supports low brightness anti-flicker technology aka DC Dimming.

As for innards, the Vivo V17 Pro is driven by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset which is the same SoC as its predecessor. Vivo ships it with inbuilt 4100mAh battery and 18W dual-engine fast charging.

The Vivo V17 Pro camera system includes a primary 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor, a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens with 120-degree of the field of view and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the handset brandishes a 32MP primary selfie camera and an 8MP wide-angle selfie shooter.
