Sony and Vaio had joined hands together to bring about a revolution in the computer world by introducing some lavishly featured laptops which scaled right on the top of their class and brought home glory for both Sony and Vaio. As the reports say the two partners are no more in a joined venture. And the thriller about one of these is that Vaio has stepped into the mobility segment by launching a smartphone in Japan on Thursday.
Vaio Phone (VA-10J) features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS OGS display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. Vaio Phone (VA-10J) sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash while there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera which can capture videos at 1080p resolution.
The smartphone includes 16GB of inbuilt storage with microSD card support (up to 64GB). It is a single micro sim device. The Vaio Phone (VA-10J) will be available in just Black colour and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The phone will incorporate a 2500 mAh non-removable battery and support features like LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS.
Though the design resembles with that of Panasonic Eluga U2, but you can expect really high from Vaio as it has already been a hallmark of excellence. Vaio Phone price is around INR 27,000 and will initially be available only to the customers in Japan.
