Amazon introduced several updates with its new Oasis 2017 (9th Generation). It has a bigger display, a bigger battery, is water resistant, and even has audible support.
In case you have bought the Kindle Oasis 2017 in India, you won’t find the option to access Bluetooth. Not yet, at least. Your Kindle won’t prompt you to pair Bluetooth devices during setup and in the settings menu, you will only find the option for ‘WiFi’ instead of ‘WiFi and Bluetooth’. Amazon is rumored to be working on bringing Audible to India in early 2018 and Bluetooth settings are likely to get more conspicuous once that happens.

Your Kindle still has Bluetooth support, though and in case you need to access it for using VoiceView navigation (for visually challenged users) or just out of sheer curiosity, there is an option to turn on Bluetooth on Kindle Oasis 2017 (9th generation).
Method 1
Step 1: Tap the triple dot menu and select ‘Settings’
Step 2: Now select Accessibility.
Step 3: Now select VoiceView Screen Reader and toggle on the option.
Step 4: Kindle Oasis will now look for nearby Bluetooth devices.
Step 5: You can now grant permission to pair by placing two fingers (separated) on the screen.
Once you have paired your Bluetooth device, you can turn off the VoiceView reader by toggling it off. This is a mode designed primarily for visually challenged people. After initial pairing, the process will be faster the next time you connect your Bluetooth audio device.

Method 2:
There is another way of turning on Bluetooth on Kindle Oasis 2017.
Step 1: Press the power button for 9 seconds.
Step 2: A ‘Power’ prompt will pop up.
Step 3: Instead of engaging with the prompt, just press two fingers (separated) anywhere on the screen.
Step 4: This will straightaway take you to VoiceView pairing.
Note: If your Kindle Oasis doesn’t have VoiceView audio files for some reason, you can manually download them from here.
Pairing Bluetooth Devices with Kindle Oasis (2017)
As you can see, the Bluetooth support is quite limited. You can not sideload your audiobooks to the device or officially access Audible books in India as of now. However, Amazon is expected to add audible support for Indian users in Early 2018.
