Since the Maruti YFG will arrive with major engine and powertrain traits similar to the upcoming Toyota HyRyder but with a different design language. It is expected to feature split headlamps, A-Cross style LED DRLs, and a front grille similar to the new Ertiga and Baleno.

For powertrain options, both the upcoming SUVs will get a 1.5L K15B petrol engine with AWD and FWD options. The AWD engine will deliver 103hp of power while the strong hybrid FWD engine can excel up to 116hp. Both Toyota and Maruti will not bring diesel engine options with the HyRyder and YFG.
