Smartphone market in India is revved up to a whole new level with new launches and announcements every now and then. Here are the top 5 smartphone releases f this week. All these smartphones were unveiled at the CES event of 2015.

LG G Flex 2

This is the successor to the previous curved smartphone by LG, the LG G Flex. The phone has just got smaller and smarter. The smartphone houses a 5.5 inch HD P-OLED display guarded by LG’s very own Dura Guard Glass. The display is curved to a radius of 700 mm. It comes with a 64-bit Snapdragon octa-core processor accompanied by 2 GB RAM and 16/32 GB internal memory option. G Flex 2 is equipped with a 13 MP camera with dual LED flash and a 2.1 MP front camera. It runs on Android Lollipop and has a 3000 mAh battery.

The powerful smartphone is a beautiful beast with metal design. Comes with a Snapdragon octa-core processor and 2 GB RAM with 32 GB of internal storage. It runs on Android Kitkat topped up by Lenovo Vibe 2.0 UI. With a 13 MP camera and a 2410 mAh battery, Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro seems pretty well. It has a full HD display of 5.3 inches. The high side of this device is that it is LTE enabled.

Another launch by Lenovo rocked the showdown at the CES-2015. Lenovo P90 is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM. It is also an LTE enabled smartphone. It has 32 GB of internal storage with a 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android Kitkat with Lenovo Vibe 2.0 UI. It’s a power player with a full HD 5.5 inch display with 1080p resolution.

HTC Desire 826

HTC has been a major player in the game of smartphone makers in India. HTC has recently launched HTC Desire 826 as a successor to HTC Desire 820. The specifications are almost same except that Desire 826 has ultra-pixel excellence in its front camera. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display, a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, a 2600mAh battery and a 13MP primary camera with LED flash. It runs on Android Lollipop with HTC Sense UI.

Asus Zenfone 2

It is the first phone to carry 4 GB RAM. It is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom processor and 16/64 GB internal storage variants, both with micro SD card support. It offers a 13 MP high end primary camera with dual-tone flash and a 5 MP secondary camera. It is LTE enabled and has a 3000 mAh battery. It flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD display and runs on Android Lollipop, accompanied by Asus’ Zen UI.
