Top 10 Smartphones Expected to Launch in November 2017

Diwali bash might be over but smartphone manufacturers aren’t about to give up on crackers just yet. From Google’s new Pixel Phones to iPhone X, a lot of interesting phones are set to arrive next month. If somehow you managed to miss out on festival season discounts, there is a lot of interesting stuff coming your way very soon. Here are all the smartphone going to launch in India and abroad in November.

Google Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL

The Search Engine giant introduced it’s Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL (FAQ) on On October 5, showcasing its software and hardware prowess. Soon its new phones were all over the internet and some even labeled them as the best Android universe could offer.

These two ‘made by Google’ phones are allegedly manufactured by HTC and LG respectively. They both are powered by nearly same hardware under the hood, have same optics and runs on same software. They are identical in every aspect barring Display type and battery size.

While the Pixel 2 comes with a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display, its eXtra Large brother boasts a 6-inch 2K POLED display with 18:9 display. In terms of battery, the Pixel 2XL has 3520mAh battery which is bigger by 820mAh from the Pixel 2. Both these Pixel devices will be launching in India on November 15. If you want to be among the first few to lay hands on new Pixel phones you can pre-book them starting October 26 on Flipkart.

Oppo F5

The self-proclaimed selfie expert, Oppo, is all set to launch its first 18:9 aspect ratio edge to edge display selfie phone in India on November 2. Oppo’s mega marketing campaign for the F5 has already started as its teasers, TVCs, and posters are already out. Few reports suggest that the Chinese manufacturer could introduce it in three versions: Oppo F5 Youth, Oppo F5, and Oppo F5 6GB.

Apart from 2K 18:9 display, it is likely to boast off an AI-based beautify mode that will beautify your selfies using smarter algorithms. Rumors have it, that the Oppo F5 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 chipset mated to 4GB/6GB RAM. Like its predecessor, it will come with a dual 16-megapixel selfie cameras a 20-megapixel rear sensor.

Xiaomi Selfie Phone

Xiaomi is also prepping up to fore into selfie centric phones category. Xiaomi is holding an event on November 2 where Xiaomi India Head – Manu Jain will introduce a new selfie centric series alongside MIUI 9.

Moto X4

Lenovo backed Motorola was supposed to introduce its Moto X4 in India on October 3 but due to some unforeseeable reasons, they have to postpone it for a later date. Motorola has now rolled out Moto X4 launch invites dated for November 13. It is first Motorola phone to be part of Google’s Android One project.

To recall, the Moto X4 was first showcased at the IFA 2017 in Berlin and is already available in the US. The phone comes running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset which is paired with Adreno 508GPU and 3GB/4GB RAM. It features a 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass covering layered on it. Optics wise, it flaunts a 12MP + 8MP dual camera setup on the rear side and a 16-megapixel selfie snapper with LED flash up front.

Nokia 7

A couple of days after launching Nokia 7 in China, HMD Global rolled out press event invites schedule for October 31. It is possible that Nokia 7 makes its debut in India that day but we expect it to go on sale sometime in November. The mid-range smartphone is not in the same league as the Nokia 8 but it seems to have most bases covered.

As per HMD Global, Nokia 7 is carved out of 7000 series aluminium. The glass-back phone features 5.2-inch full HD IPS display and Gorilla Glass protection on both surfaces. It rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC accompanied by 4GB/ 6GB of RAM under the hood. Nokia once again flaunts Carl Zeiss optics aided 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front AF shooter.

Apple iPhone X

Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (tips and tricks) are already retailing in the country and starting November 3 , the flagship or futuristic iPhone X will be available in India as well as globally. The tenth anniversary iPhone X (cases) overshadowed iPhone 8 dup and is also the most expensive iPhone ever.

Key highlights of the iPhone X are 5.8-inch OLED ‘Super Retina’ edge-to-edge display, Apple A11 Bionic chipset and new Face ID -a face recognition system which Apple claims is more secure than its Touch ID. Like iPhone 8 Plus also features a 12MP dual rear camera setup with dual OIS. It comes with a 7MP selfie camera. The phone will be running on iOS 11 out of the box. It has 2,716mAh non-removable battery and it supports wireless charging. The Apple iPhone X will be available in 64GB and 256GB storage options.

HTC U11 Plus/ HTC U11 Life

November 2 will also be an important day for HTC as it is holding an event on that day outside India. The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer will launch two new phones: HTC U11 Plus and HTC U11 Life at the press event.

The HTC U11 Plus will be the expensive one of the two phones as it will flaunt an 18:9 edge-to-edge display with a liquid surface design. On the specs front, it’s likely to feature more or less the same hardware as the U11. In all probability, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB ROM. It will host a rear fingerprint sensor as well.

The HTC U11 Life, on the other hand, will be a mid-budget phone and a part of Google’s Android One project. Rumor has it, that HTC U11 Life will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 630/660 processor. On optics front, it could feature 16-megapixel on both sides.

OnePlus 5T

Off-late OnePlus has been in the news thanks to OnePlus 5T rumours. OnePlus is yet to acknowledge or deny its existence but the recently leaked renders appear to be legit. According to reports, the OnePlus 5T is likely to feature a bezel-less design. It will come with a 6-inch display which will have a 2,160 x 1,080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

According to latest Antutu leak, the OnePlus 5T will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is accompanied by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is likely to come out of the box running on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Redmi Note 5

After launching Redmi 5A in China, Xiaomi is expected to introduce successor of its popular Redmi Note 4 in its motherland. According to latest TENNA listing, the Redmi Note 5 will be housing a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Xiaomi is expected to offer the Redmi Note 5 in at least in two variants: 3GB /4 GB of RAM with 32 /64 GB storage. Details related to chipset is still unclear, but most likely it will be powered by Snapdragon 630 chipset.
