AI Speak

Just as the name suggests, AI Speak will allow users to use Artificial Intelligence to read articles from browsers like Chrome and Firefox. The feature also works with Google News and there is an option to choose between male and female voices to listen to the article, working in tandem with your reading assistant. AI Speak also allows you to use the replay option, switch sentences, and adjust playback speed.

AI Writer

AI Writer can work as your personal writing assistant and you can use this feature to write text based on the image on your device. It will be suggested in apps like social media, shopping, and email.

AI Summary

AI Summary feature will use AI to make summaries of any article or information on the web. After the article summary is completed, you can copy, share, or save it to the Notes app on your device. You can also save it to File Dock.

All three new features will be a part of the AI Toolkit that is now a part of the sidebar. To use these features, users will have to enable screen recognition. This can be done by navigating to the Settings app, then going to Accessibility and Convenience, and doing so.

Why Are OnePlus Users Frustrated?

While the features that have been rolled out are useful, it is the supported devices and regions section that has annoyed OnePlus users. They are irritated over the fact that the brand hasn’t rolled out AI features to its flagship smartphones like the OnePlus 12 or OnePlus 12R. Many are even wondering why OnePlus is bringing it to Nord CE 4 Lite in India. It could also be the strategy of the brand to test the AI features on low and medium-budget devices first before rolling them out for flagship smartphones. How OnePlus progresses with the rollout remains to be seen.
