Tecno is all set to launch the successor to the Phantom X Series in Dubai on the 7th of December. The Tecno Phantom X2 Series is said to include 2 models- Tecno Phantom X2 and Tecno Phantom X2 Pro. Ahead of the launch, details about the specs and features of the Tecno Phantom X2 are being tipped online. Tecno has confirmed that the new addition will be equipped with “Eagle Eye Lens” camera technology, Dimensity 9000 chipset, and more. Tecno Phantom X2: Expected Specs & Features
According to leaks, Tecno Phantom X2 will sport a 6.8-inch FHD+ curved Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera of the smartphone is expected to be a triple camera unit with a 64MP primary sensor. It is said to have a gimbal camera for stabilizing videos that also doubles as an ultrawide and macro lens. There is said to be a 32MP selfie lens.
While the brand has confirmed that it will feature MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and reports claim that it would be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage that can be expanded via microSD card. The Tecno Phantom X2 is expected to pack a 5100mAh battery with fast charging. It will run HiOS 12 custom skin based on Android 12. The smartphone is said to miss out on a 3.5mm headphone jack but it will include a USB Type-C connector for charging. There will be an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Tecno Phantom X
The predecessor Tecno Phantom X came to India in May 2022. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset and flaunts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is priced at Rs. 25,999.
