Tecno Camon 16 with Helio G70, 64MP cam, and 5000mAh battery launched in India

Transsion Holdings has launched the Tecno Camon 16 in India. The entry grade phone has fairly good ingredients such as a gaming-centric Helio G70 processor, a large 5000mAh battery, and a 64MP quad-camera set up by the back. The camera features TAIVOS, which stands for TECNO AI Vision Optimization Solution.

Tecno Camon 16 Highlights

The front has got a 6.8-inch HD+ display with an 89.1% screen-to-body ratio, and a left-aligned punch hole. Within it, there is a 16MP camera backed by Eye Autofocus for better portraits.

Swivel to the rear, and therein resides a 64MP primary, 2MP macro, 2MP depth, and 2MP AI lens. Speaking of AI, the photos are processed by the company’s proprietary AI vision optimization solution. Tecno has also baked in things like Eye Autofocus, Night Portrait Mode, 10x Zoom, Video Bokeh, and Slow-mo Video Recording.

The phone is engined by Mediatek Helio G70 processor, assisted by 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (further expandable to 256GB). It ships with Android 10 based HiOS 7.0 software. The phone also has a 5000mAj battery that’s supported by an 18W fast charger.

Tecno Camon 16 Price and Availability

Tecno Camon 16 is available for Rs. 10,999 through Flipkart starting October 16. You get to pick the device in Cloud White, Purist Blue, and Misty Grey colors.
