At its C-series XR launch event, TCL has introduced three new QLED TVs in the Indian market. This includes the TCL C825 which is the company’s second-gen mini LED flagship, along with TCL C725 and C728 QLED TVs.
TCL C825 sports 4K Dolby Vision HDR, IMAX Enhanced, 120Hz MEMC, WiFi, a 4MP webcam, and HDMI 2.1 port with support for VRR, ALLM, eARC. It also boasts Dolby Vision IQ, which uses dynamic metadata to enhance Dolby Vision content as per the ambient lighting in your room.
Alongside the C825, the company is also bringing the TCL C725 and C728 QLED sets to the country. Let’s see what each of these models bring on board.
TCL C825 Features

TCL C825 not just has the QLED components, but also the tiny mini LED backlight. In the company’s own words, “the C825 adopts straight down backlight mode reducing the grain size of traditional LED to 100 ~200 μm”. What this entails is better local dimming and in turn better blacks and contrasts (6000:1). Thanks to the Quantum Dot particles, you could expect rich colors and higher brightness levels (500 nits).
