Synology has recently announced two new WiFi 6 routers for the Indian market – RT6600ax, and WRX560. Both routers are created to deliver fast, secure, and safe internet connectivity in both household and business steups. The devices run on the Synology Router Manager (SRM) 1.3 operating system. The routers are ready to face the challenges related to modern network environments, like the massive rise in connected devices and the resulting necessity to keep the users safe from security threats.

The Synology routers offer highly reliable WiFi connectivity with signal isolation, beamforming, encoding, and scheduling. Both the devices ship with a 2.5GbE WAN/LAN port that allows users to take advantage Multi-Gig internet connections or high-performance devices like NAS, along with high-speed wireless backhaul. The quad-core processors make sure that the users get fast connection speeds and snappy operations.

Talking about the RT6600ax delivers tri-band technology that works in conjunction with Smart Connect to optimize device distribution. With this, all the bottlenecks related to data transmission get eliminated. The higher concurrent connections make sure that you will get faster VPN server performance.

Both the routers come with improvements and added functionality that seriously expand the network management capabilities. The latest SRM update comes with multiple applications for web filtering, control, traffic, and remote access to the new generation of Synology routers. In addition, the bandwidth can be distributed among all the connected devices and even prioritize a single client or application if it needs higher bandwidth.

All the traffic reports can be generated automatically or on-demand that can be quickly shared in CSV or HTML formats. All the remote workers can also use WebVPN which helps in resource sharing over different networks and enable remote operation of devices compatible with the RDP/VNC standard. As for the pricing, the RT6600ax is available in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 31,507. On the other hand, the WRX560 router can be purchased for Rs 22,352.
