Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA Launched In India At 48,990 and 20,990 Respectively

Sony has debuted its Xperia X series in India with the official launch of Xperia X and Xperia XA.  The Japanese tech giant first showcased Xperia X series at the MWC 2016. The Xperia X Dual and Xperia XA are priced at Rs. 48,990 and 20,990 respectively. The premium Xepria will be available from June 7 while mid-budget device will be available from the third week of June. Both these smartphone are dual SIM and are sold by Amazon India and Sony retailer.

As an introductory offer, both the smartphones come bundled with worth Rs. 2,700 free content from Sony Liv, Hungama and Kindle ebooks. Xperia X Dual users can enjoy Gameloft games along worth Rs. 780 on their new phone.

In terms of specification, The Xperia X flaunts a stunning 5-inch Triluminos display and is powered Sony’s X-realty engine. It has a running resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Xperia X Dual houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal storage. For Shutterbugs, it includes a 23-megapxiel primary camera with a f/2.0 aperture, a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, predictive hybrid autofocus, and pulse LED flash. On the front, it bears a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. Both cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos. It also comes packed with a fingerprint sensor. Xperia X comes in white, graphite black, lime gold, and rose gold colour options. It is backed by a 2620mAh battery.

On the other hand, Sony Xperia XA sports a 5-inch 720P HD display powered by Sony’s proprietary Mobile Bravia engine 2. At the heart of it, enthralls a MediaTek MT6755chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. It also supports microSD card up to 200GB. Like Xperia X, it also runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The dual SIM smartphone comes fitted with a 13-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS for mobile sensor, hybrid autofocus, and LED flash; an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
