Sony PS5 Bundle with Dualsense Controllers expected to launch soon: Read on to know more

A few days ago, Sony confirmed that there will be no shortage of PlayStation in 2023. Now, it seems that the company is trying its best to live up to its promise as a report that has emerged indicates that the PS5 bundle will be launched with 2 DualSense controllers. The report by WinFuture claims that these new bundles will have more recent models of the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition consoles, the CFI-1216A and CFI-1216B.

The controller will take some time to come to India, as it will have a global launch first. The dates for the global launch have not been announced yet so we will have to wait for an announcement from Sony.

PlayStation 5 bundle: Expected prices

The PS5 new bundle is expected to be priced around Rs. 59,990 for the optical/disc edition and Rs. 49,990 for the Digital Edition, similar to the Horizon Forbidden West or the Gran Turismo 7 bundles.

PlayStation 5 DualSense controller bundle: Expectations

The DualSense controller bundle will be useful for PS5 users as many games like FIFA23 incentivize couch co-op. It will be a smart purchase for players who play games with other friends or family members locally. The controller costs Rs. 5,990; thus, pairing it with the console at a lower price will make the bundle even more attractive.

Speculations are rife that Sony is also working on a mid-generation console refresh in the form of the Pro/Slim bundle. Sony does this kind of refresh during the period of the console cycle around 3 years after its launch so it would be interesting to see if the refresh comes in the form of a Slim console or whether Sony decides to bring PlayStation 5 Pro.

Since PS5 is already a powerful gaming console, PS5 Pro will take things a notch higher. Manufacturer TCL claims that the PS5 Pro will give 8K resolution at up to 120Hz. It is said to feature an RX7700XT GPU capable of 2160p at 60/120Hz and UHD 8K at 60-120Hz. The console will be thinner and lighter in form factor and have a USB-C port for connecting a disc drive separately.
