Sony India has officially expanded its E-mount mirrorless camera line-up with α6400 (Model ILCE-6400). The brand-new camera includes the advanced technologies from Sony’s renowned full-frame lineup. The α6400 mirrorless camera features 425 phase-detection AF points and 425 contrast-detection AF points that are densely placed over the entire image area, covering approximately 84% of the image area. You could set eye movements to control the camera from a distance in different conditions. Though, the eye tracking feature will only be available after a software update which is slated for summer 2019.
AI is used again for object recognition as well as processing. This can be activated by a simple half-press of the shutter button or can be assigned to a custom function as well.
