Last two generations of Samsung’s truly wireless earphones had a near-identical design, but going by the renders posted by Winfuture.de, Samsung is reinventing the next-in-line Galaxy Buds and will be switching to a beans-shape design.

Before dwelling more on the buds, it’s worth pointing out that these renders are based on Samsung’s 3D renders for the upcoming TWS.

The bean Galaxy Buds measure under 1-inch. The drivers fit snug in the ear canal and the rest of the hardware fits into the natural curvature on the upper side.

The upcoming earphones codenamed Galaxy Buds Bean are allegedly marked as model number SM-R180 featuring two drivers. These TWS earphones will include three microphones, similar to Galaxy Buds+.

Sources behind the leak also claim an external channel for better sound quality and a slew of sensors to detect and offer auto-pause functionality.

At present, the new Galaxy Buds are said to be in the first phase of validation testing. The leak doesn’t include key details such as battery capacity, charging time, codec support, etc. It is possible that Samsung will announce these TWS buds alongside Galaxy Note 20 which is likely to launch later this year in August.
