Samsung Galaxy Tab A features 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with a sufficiently enough 2 GB of RAM. The tablet by Samsung packs 32 GB of expandable storage with microSD card support. Detailing the Samsung Galaxy Tab A specs further, it packs a 9.7 inch HD display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels and runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 platform preloaded with a couple of Microsoft apps. Samsung Tab A camera includes a 5 MP rear facing lens with no LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A will be available in four variants- two variants with screen size of 8 inch with optional LTE and Wi-Fi and two variants with screen size of 9.7 inch with optional LTE and Wi-Fi. Samsung Galaxy Tab A price for 8 inch variant with LTE is $420 and for Wi-Fi only version is $292, and that for 9.7 inch with LTE is $490 and for that with Wi-Fi is $360. Samsung Galaxy Tab A launch has been rolled out only for South Korea as of now.
