Samsung Odyssey G7 and G9 240Hz curved gaming monitors launched in India

Samsung has launched two curved gaming monitors in India. Odyssey G7 (in 27″ and 32″) and Odyssey G9 (49″) sports a curvature radius of 1,000 millimeters for a comfortable field of view. Debuted back at CES 2020, these are the “world’s first 1000R gaming monitors”. These also boast the industry’s first ‘Eye Comfort’ certification from TÜV Rheinland.

Further, they feature a fluid 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. Both models of G7 are QHD panels while the G9 is the world’s first Dual Quad High-Definition (DQHD) monitor. Also, both screens are compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and Adaptive-Sync via DisplayPort 1.4.

Being gaming monitors, they also flaunt flashy aesthetics along with ‘infinity core’ lighting at the back. It comes with 52 colors and five lighting effects. You can pick the Odyssey G7 in the matte black color while the G9 rocks a glossy black finish.

Samsung Odyssey G9, G7 Price and Availability

Samsung has priced the Odyssey G7 starting at Rs. 49,000 while the G9 carries a price tag of Rs. 1,99,000.  Both monitors are currently available for pre-booking in India. This will go on till December 31, 2020, with attractive offers.
