The Galaxy Watch 4 series was painfully slow to charge. The Galaxy Watch 6 got a little better with an extra 100% faster charging at 10W, which takes 1.5 hours to fully charge the battery inside. The upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 is set to further improve on this with 15W fast charging.
An FCC listing spotted by SamMobile has revealed the charging wattage of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series. The Galaxy Watch 7, holding the model number SM-L305, will support charging at 3A and 5V, which translates to 15W of total power.

The report also suggests that the rest of the variants in the Galaxy Watch 7 series, except the Galaxy Watch 7 FE, will all support the same 15W fast charging. What does this mean in real-world usage? The Galaxy Watch 7 series will charge 50% faster than the Galaxy Watch 6. This is a huge improvement, as it can get handy when you forget to charge your watch and need a quick juice up.
The Galaxy Watch 7 FE, expected to be a rebranded Galaxy Watch 4, will only support 5W charging. This is a huge bummer, as it would take more than three hours to charge the battery under normal circumstances. Samsung should have at least upgraded the charging speed to 10W.
