Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Hands-on Videos and Plugin App reveal specifications, key details

Samsung is all set to unpack as many as five new devices next week on August 5. One out of the five devices could very well be the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. Well, Samsung is yet to confirm its existence but a bunch of hands-on videos have already appeared online revealing the Galaxy Watch 3 features and specifications.

Apart from the hands-on videos, crazy nerds at XDA Developers also tore down the Galaxy Watch 3 Plugin app apk and manage to extract exciting details like gesture controls and fall detection.

The folks at XDA Developers went through Google Watch 3 Plugin app and discovered a mention of hand gesture controls. The app code suggests Hand gestures like clenching and unclenching the fist to answer phone call either though the watch or the phone. That’s not all, you can reject a call by just shaking your hand.

The Galaxy Watch 3 has a fall direction feature if XDA findings are correct. once it detects fall, it will ring for a minute if the user doesn’t respond, it’ll automatically trigger an emergency response by sending the user’s location and five-second audio recording to the set emergency contact.

Apart from XDA, two Youtube channels posted their hands-on videos of the Samsung Galaxy 3. First was a channel called TechTalkTV who claimed that one of his subscribers shared hands-on footage of the Smartwatch with him. In the video, he showcased a 41mm black color variant of the Galaxy Watch 3.

Another channel that goes by the name of ‘The Mobile Central’ posted Galaxy Watch 3 unboxing, first Impressions video on youtube. As per the Youtuber, the retailer sold the upcoming Galaxy Watch 3 to him before the official launch. In his video, he showcased the Galaxy Watch 3 and its box contents. The watch showed by him is a Mystic Bronze 41mm version with model number SM-R850. What’s interesting to note in his video is the rotating bezel which wasn’t a part of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 that was announced earlier this year.
