South Korean Tech giant Samsung has launched the next generation of foldable smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have been unveiled. Alongside the foldables, the brand has also launched Watch 5 Series and Buds 2 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Z Fold 4 Watch 5 Series & Buds 2 Pro: Price & Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 comes in the following storage variants-
- 12GB RAM+256GB storage
- 12GB RAM+512GB storage
- 12GB RAM+1TB storage
The price starts from 1799 dollars and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be available in select countries from August 26.
The Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 will be available from August 26th, starting at 999 dollars. It will come in the following storage variants-
- 8GB RAM+128GB storage
- 8GB RAM+256GB storage
- 8GB RAM+512GB storage
- It will come in Bora Purple, Graphite, Blue, and Pink Gold colorways.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be available from August 26th, starting at 449 dollars.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will be available from August 26th, starting at 279 dollars.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will also be available from August 26th, starting at 229 dollars.
Interested customers can pre-reserve the foldables via Samsung’s official website and exclusive stores by paying Rs. 1999. All pre-order customers will be eligible for additional benefits worth Rs. 5000 after delivery.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4: Specs & Features
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It features a 7.6-inch QHD+ AMOLED display on the inside and a 6.2-inch AMOLED display on the outside. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and weighs about 263 grams. The display will have HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, and an in-screen camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone has a quad camera rear setup with a 50MP main lens, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and two additional 10MP lenses. It packs a 4400mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It runs Android 12L with One UI 4 and has a 16MP selfie camera at the front. It has support for S-Pen as well.
The connectivity options will include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. It will have support for an S-Pen and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4: Specs & Features
Galaxy Z Flip 4 is also powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display on the inside and dual 12MP wide and ultrawide cameras on the back with OIS and VDIS. The 3rd one is a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The phone has a two-tone design on the rear with a pair of dual cameras next to the slightly larger cover screen. It will come in multiple colorways. There is a 1.9-inch secondary AMOLED screen on the back panel and it will feature up to 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 runs Android 12-based One UI .1 custom skin out of the box. It packs a 4400mAh battery with 25W fast charging and support for 5G, Dolby Atmos, and DeX support. Connectivity options include WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type- C charging, and more. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will also be available in Bespoke Edition wherein the consumers will have an option to buy the Flip 4 with a dual outside color tone.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro: Specs & Features
The new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro comes with a new ergonomic and comfortable design and ANC that is more effective than before. The Buds have Hi-fi 24-bit audio,40% powerful ANC, Voice Detect, personalized beamforming, and an upcoming LE codec. They are IPX7 rated and feature 10mm drivers, 360-degree audio, Bluetooth 5.3, and 8-hour battery life. The buds have a 29-hour battery life along with the case.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Series: Specs & Features
The Galaxy Watch 5 Series consists of a basic Watch 5 model and a new Pro model this time. The Pro model has new features like a titanium case, rugged body, larger display, and LTE connectivity. Both the watches will run WearOS 3. The watches will not come with a rotating bezel. The watches have touch bezels and Watch 5 comes in 4 colors- Graphite, Sapphire, Silver, and Pink Gold. It is made of Sapphire Crystal and has an advanced bioactive sensor.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has a 590mAh battery, rugged looks, and sapphire crystal display, and comes in Black Titanium and Gray Titanium colors.
