Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with S-Pen support launched in India; price starts at Rs 27,999

Samsung India has officially launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in the country. The tablet is being pushed as a device for learning and entertainment. The Lite moniker of the Galaxy Tab S6 tablet is offered in Wi-Fi-only and LTE models. The Tablet is being offered in Oxford Gray, Angora Blue, and Chiffon Pink color options.

Samsung has also launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite book cover which will be sold separately.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Price in India

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Wi-Fi variant has been priced at Rs 27,999 and 4G variant at Rs 31,999. Samsung also has a pre-launch offer running on the Tab S6 Lite where consumers can get Galaxy Buds+ for just Rs 2,999. Also, they can buy the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Book Cover for Rs 2,500. The Tablet will be available on sale in retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com, Amazon India, and other retail stores from June 17.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Features

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite houses a 10.4-inch WUXGA (1,200×2,000 pixels) TFT display. It is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. The tablet also includes S Pen which will attract productivity-oriented users. The S Pen has a 0.7mm tip and weighs 7.03 grams.

The S6 Lite Tabet comes with 64GB of internal storage with support for media expansion via microSD card (up to 1TB). The tablet also includes an 8-megapixel camera at the rear and another 5-megapixel shooter at the front for video calling.

The new tablet from Samsung has a 7,040mAh battery which as per Samsung can last for 12 hours usage on a single charge. It runs on Android 10 based One UI. As for connectivity, the S6 Lite has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro-USB for charging and connecting with PC. The Tablet also features Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound dual speakers powered by AKG.
