Samsung has officially confirmed the Android Lollipop 5.0 update for Galaxy S5 mini. The smartphone is almost a year old already, and Samsung has just shown how to take care of the older products after becoming the top notch smartphone brand all over the world. Although there has been no official date announced for the update to release but then since the confirmation of the update is official, it is totally out of the red zone to mention that the update is officially confirmed and can start rolling out anytime soon. The update is supposed to bring a new material design to the smartphone, along with a few bug fixes.

Just to recall, Samsung Galaxy S5 mini features a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and packed up with 1.5 GB of RAM. It flaunts a 4.5 inch SUPER AMOLED display with an HD resolution support of 720p. S5 mini comes with 16 GB on built in storage space which can further expanded up to 64 GB by a microSD card.
