Samsung’s flagship phones have been cruising along in a swift manner, giving Samsung a head-start in the race. And the news about the device is that Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to get Android Lollipop 5.1 upgrade. This has got a lot of brains alarmed which are eagerly waiting to grab the opportunity to upgrade their smartphones to the latest version of Android OS. Well, for such smartphone enthusiasts there is some great news regarding their wait time being too close to get over.

This new update comes with the fixes related to Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity and Bluetooth improvements. It brings about changes in Material Design, a refreshed UI, improvements in battery backup and enhanced overall performance. The Touchwiz UI of Samsung has been lightened up off the load and has been made slimmer. Some of the major changes will include the lockscreen notifications and guest mode, which allows the user to create different profiles within the phone. The update is of about 875 MB and needs 3 GB of storage space to get installed. This update is available now in India and can be successfully downloaded on your Samsung Galaxy S5.
