Samsung Galaxy S20 FE With 4,500mAh Battery, Snapdragon 865 SoC Launched: Price, Specifications

Samsung has finally unveiled its Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) at its Unpacked event on September 23, 2020. The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition brings flagship-grade features at a much more competitive price tag. Just like the other S20 smartphones, the FE edition is equipped with a 120Hz screen and a 5G-ready chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is priced at 699 euros globally. Samsung is likely to announce India price in the coming days. The phone will go on sale starting on October 2. Pre-booking for the Galaxy S20 FE is now open in the country.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE brandish fresh design hues that glimmer while looking from an angle. There are 6 new colors to choose: Cloud Navy Blue, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Red, Cloud White, and Cloud Orange.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Highlights

The 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen is flat and has very narrow bezels. The punch hole for the selfie camera is just 3.3mm wide. Just like Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (review), the Fan edition display also refreshes 120 times in a second.

There’s a Triple Rear camera setup at the back featuring a 12MP primary sensor coupled with 12MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto camera with up to 30X Zoom. There’s a 32MP camera on the front for selfie.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G support. The phone comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also supports up to 1TB of microSD storage. Samsung further bundles Xbox Game Pass and Youtube Premium membership with the phone.

The Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 4500mAh battery with wireless and wired charging support. As always, there is a 25W wired fast charger in the box. Samsung’s power-share feature is also supported here. The handset is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.
