Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite vs Galaxy Note 10 Lite vs OnePlus 7T Vs ROG Phone 2: Design

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite share many design similarities. Both of these phones embrace Infinity-O super AMOLED display and a glass back, and both of these phones look absolutely premium. Folded display side edges as on flagships are missing, but  8mm slim waistline and lightweight (186 grams) ensure that these phones do not feel mediocre by any means. What sets these two phones apart is the S-pen which is only exclusive to the Note 10 Lite.

OnePlus 7T doesn’t get to flaunt a curved screen either, but the metallic rail and frosted glass back make it as premium as you’d want it to be. The circular camera module makes the phone distinct, but isn’t inline with our personal taste.

The ROG Phone 2 looks and feels more muscular and brawny and we can see why gamers, or anybody with an eccentric taste, would dig the look. It’s also the only one among the four with a notch-free screen.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite vs Galaxy Note 10 Lite vs OnePlus 7T Vs ROG Phone 2: Performance and Software

Once again, the performance you’d get from the four phones is quite close. All these phones pack some powerful hardware inside. While Samsung uses in-house Exynos 9810 on the Note 10 Lite, the Galaxy S10 Lite is driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset. These are familiar chipsets that are known to deliver flagship-grade performance.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is available with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage whereas the Galaxy S10 Lite has only one 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage variant.

The other two challengers – OnePlus 7T and ROG Phone 2 phone edge out these Samsung offerings with their slightly better chipset i.e. Snapdragon 855+. Asus with better thermal controls is best in device for gaming among four of them. OnePlus 7T with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage comes in second. The ROG Phone 2 on the other hand, is made available in 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM options in India.

One UI 2.0 is an extremely refined interface that offers smooth experience and integrates a rich feature-set. Both S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite software also include proprietary features like Samsung Pay. S-Pen on the Note 10 Lite adds another dimension to the overall game.

Oxygen OS ranks among the best custom user interface in the market and the 7T wears it proudly. The 7T software is refined and smooth. It looks close to stock-Android but also has a handful of helpful extras that improve the experience.

Asus too has done tremendous work over its UI and has made it leaner and cleaner. With ROG centric additions like Armory Crate X, Mode, and Game Genie, Asus gives options to make the most of the phone’s hardware.
