Samsung Galaxy M40 teaser page goes live on Amazon India; reveals design, camera, and other details

Samsung is expected to expand its M series with a new entrant- Galaxy M40. Earlier in the day, a teaser page on Amazon India related to the Galaxy M40 went live with certain details and information related to the launch information. This is in line with the reports of Galaxy M40 launch on June 11.

Right off the bat, the phone will look different thanks to its Infinity-O display with a punch-hole design, borrowed from the flagship Galaxy S series. And as for the back, you would find a camera trio aligned vertically like the Galaxy M30 (review). The rear also houses the fingerprint scanner and Samsung branding.

The teaser touts a quick performance with Snapdragon 6 series. As per the source, the phone could be engined by a Snapdragon 675 chipset, backed by Adreno 612 graphics. Samsung Galaxy M40 might have a better software experience with Samsung’s Android Pie based One UI on top. So, this in itself could be a major refresh over the Experience UI on Galaxy M30. Other expected specs include 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

Samsung Galaxy M40 thus seems to bring with it a better suite of features in comparison to its predecessors. And from the look of the leaks and rumors so far, this could be more than an iterative upgrade. Now, we have to wait until the phone comes alive on June 11.
