Samsung Galaxy M40 Set to launch on June 11: Everything We Know So Far

Samsung has made the official announcement regarding the release of the next Galaxy in its M-series. The new phone would broaden the envelope on June 11, as reflected in the teaser via Amazon India and the official page. Lately, the leaks have endowed key specs details as well to corroborate the same.

A top Samsung official spewed that the rear camera would be a 32MP snapper, and the phone would be priced around ₹20,000. The rear panel could sport a 5-megapixel depth and 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor to complete a rear camera triplet. As for the front, Galaxy M40 might house a 16MP selfie snapper.

Later on, we came to know that the device could be powered by Snapdragon 675 chipset. As for the storage, the leaks hint a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage variant. Well, reproving the previous rumors, the phone is now expected to fueled by a 3500mAh battery.

Galaxy M40’s facade could feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ (2340×1080 pixel) display with Infinity-O cutout at the top left corner. The phone would be equipped with a rear fingerprint scanner and a face unlock. When you unlock the device, you would experience the Android Pie.

We could witness the official unveiling of the new phone on June 11. Until then, we would recommend taking the details with a pinch of salt. The budget series which currently includes M10 (review), M20 (review), and M30 (review) reimagined the aesthetics and internals of the Samsung phones in low tier. And we expect Samsung Galaxy M40 to carry the torch forward.
