Samsung Galaxy M31 Geekbench listing reveals key specifications

Samsung mobiles is likely to continue with their aggressive launch spree in 2020, especially for the Galaxy M and Galaxy A-series. If industry rumors are anything to go by, the galaxy M31 and M51 could be the first set of phones that Samsung launches in 2020. In lines with these rumors, the Galaxy M31 has allegedly surfaced on Geekbench.

According to the Geekbench listing, the alleged Samsung Galaxy M31 is marked with SM-M315F model number. Just like the Galaxy M30S (review) the upcoming phone will be driven by Exynos 9611 SoC. The Samsung developed mid-range application processor is clocked at 1.74GHz and comprises eight cores.

Apart from chipset, the Geekbench listing also reveals that the SM-M315F aka Samsung Galaxy M31 could be offered with a 6GB RAM and run Android 10-based software.

The SM 315F managed to tick scores of 348 single-core and 1,214 multi-core on Geekbench benchmark tests. In some of the other related rumors, the Samsung Galaxy M31 is suggested to feature a quad rear camera arrangement.

In the past, we have read reports suggesting that the Galaxy M31 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 chipset. Some other reports pointed towards a triple camera setup bringing together a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
