Samsung Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 launched in India

Samsung has launched two new smartphones in the M-series – Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01. The Galaxy M11 is the successor of Galaxy M10 [Review] launched last year and Galaxy M01 is a more affordable entry-grade option.

Samsung is also gearing up to launch Galaxy A31, another mid-range smartphone, on June 4. As the teasers suggest, Galaxy A31 will feature a quad rear camera arrangement and 15W fast charge support for its beefy 5000mAh battery.

Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 Price and Availability

The price of Samsung Galaxy M11 is Rs 10,999 for 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs 12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. It is available in Blue, Black, and Violet color options.

The Samsung Galaxy M01 is brought in a single 3 + 32GB variant that costs Rs 8,999 in India with color options of Blue, Black, and Red. The two new models are on sale in India and are available on Flipkart, Amazon, Samsung shop, and other major retail stores.

The Samsung Galaxy M11 gets a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O-Display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels. An octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor powers the phone coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 64G internal storage. Its triple rear camera setup comprises of a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide sensor with a 115° field of view (FoV), and a 2MP depth sensor.  An 8MP front shooter gets a place in the left corner within a punch-hole. As other mid-range M-series phones we saw this year, the Galaxy M11 has a 5000mAh capacity that supports 15W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy M01 has a smaller display size of 5.71-inch IPS LCD with Infinity-V notch design. The Galaxy M01 features a modest Snapdragon 439 SoC backed by 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Photography needs are addressed by 13MP and a 2MP dual camera at the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. The phone comes with a generous 4000mAh battery.

Both phones have dual SIM 4G support, WiFi, microSD card slot, and 3.5mm audio jack. The Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 run on One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 operating system. Only the M11 gets a fingerprint reader.
