Samsung Galaxy J8 with Infinity Display and Dual-Cameras Launched: Price, Specifications and Features

Samsung’s mid-range, Galaxy J8 that was announced alongside Galaxy J6 and Galaxy A6 and A6+ (Review) is now available for sale in India. On paper, the handset comes with Samsung’s flagship Infinity display, rocks decent innards, and sports dual-camera setup on the rear.

Samsung Galaxy J8 Price, Availability, and launch offers

The Samsung Galaxy J8 India price is set at Rs 18,990, and you can grab it from official retail outlets and e-commerce platforms such as Samsung’s e-shop, Paytm, Flipkart and Amazon across country. The handset comes in multiple shades: Blue, Black and Gold.

The launch offers you can avail on Galaxy J8 includes:

  • Additional cashback of Rs 2,000 on ICICI Bank credit and debit cards or Paytm Mall.
  • All buyers activating their Samsung Galaxy J8 on, or before July 31 can also avail a one-time screen replacement offer.

Samsung Galaxy J8 Features

For those unaware, the Galaxy J8 sports a 6-inch HD+ display with a fair amount of bezels on the sides. The phone employs Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC mated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. It runs on Android Oreo-based Samsung’s Experience UI and houses a 3500mAh battery.

For photography, the Galaxy J8 sports a 16-megapixel (f/1.7) primary sensor combined with 5-megapixel (f/1.9) depth sensor to provide blurred background images. For selfies, you get a 16-megapixel shooter on the front.

Connectivity options on the phone comprise of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and a headphone jack. It also features a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear, and that  you can unlock Galaxy J8 using face unlock.
