Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Renders Leaked, Point At Different Names For Different Carriers

About a month after we talked about this year’s version of the Samsung Galaxy J7, comes another leak that has let out its design, build and a few other details.

The tech world got privy to the said leak courtesy popular gadget tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks who tweeted the same along with a picture of the 2017 edition of the Galaxy J7.

According to Blass, the phone will carry a model number J727 and will be known by different names for different carriers.

While the phone will launch on Verizon as the Galaxy J7 V, it will be out on Tracfone as the Galaxy J7 Sky Pro.

Coming to the photograph that accompanied the tweet, the 2017 Galaxy J7 appears to feature an oval-shaped home button and it is very likely that it will come with a fingerprint sensor embedded inside.

On the back, the phone features a thin metallic strip and houses the camera along with an LED flash.

Alas, the tweet could only reveal so much about the latest version of the Galaxy J7 and details such as its release date still remain a subject of speculation and contemplation among tech enthusiasts.

Reiterating, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is likely to feature a 5.5-inch HD display. Android Nougat OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, 2GB RAM and 12MP/5MP cameras.

PS: It is just a wild guess, but the phone could quite possibly be launched as early as April this year, as that is the date being displayed in lock screen of the phone in the photograph.
