Samsung Unpacked 2020 event officially pulled up the curtains from the Galaxy Buds+. The new truly wireless earphones from Samsung are in line with the leaked ones that some users managed to buy online even before the launch. Compared to the last generation buds, the design remains almost similar but Samsung claims to have made some significant hardware improvements.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ features

Better Sound and longer battery life will be the two differentiating factors between the Galaxy Buds+ and their predecessor.

The new TWS earphones claim to feature two drivers in each bud – one for Highs & mids while the other one act as a woofer. New buds weigh 0.7 grams heavier than the last generation and house a bigger 85mAh battery. The Galaxy Bud+ ships in a pill shape charging case. The case, too, gets a beefier 270mAh battery (compared to 252mAh on the last year’s model).

As per Samsung, the Galaxy Bud Plus will last for 11 hours on a single charge and offers 22 hours of total playback time with the charging case backup included. Buds+ supports Bluetooth 5, Qi wireless charging, and SBS codec. However, there’s no ANC feature available on these buds.
