Days ahead of the launch, the design of the charging case for Galaxy Buds 3 has surfaced online which confirms previous news about Samsung giving a complete overhaul to the design of the buds.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3: Design Revamp
Various reports have claimed that the Galaxy Buds 3 will feature an airpod-like stem design this time, thus discarding off the previously ‘bean’ shaped design language. The stem design was first made popular by Apple AirPods and is now being used by Nothing Ear as well followed by Samsung Galaxy Buds 3.

However, it seems like not only the buds but also the charging case is getting revamped. @TEQHNIKACROSS took to X to share some images that have been taken from Coupang, a Korean retail website that shows the new design of the charging case. The images showcase a rectangular design that has a transparent lid making earbuds inside visible. The stems of the earbuds are going down into the case and the lid opens up horizontally to reveal the full look of the buds.

If this is the final design, then Samsung has surely changed it completely from the previous generations. The design seems to be heavily inspired by Apple AirPods Pro, with the shape of the case and the size of the lid being similar to Apple AirPods Pro. It features a different color and a transparent lid.
Although it feels like a welcome change as the Galaxy Buds Series required a revamp, it will be interesting to know what made Samsung go for a close copy to Apple’s TWS after making their own designs for years.
