Samsung could soon launch a new A-series phone, the Galaxy A72, which has been making headlines for quite some time. Rumors gained more traction as the support page for Galaxy A72 went live on the company’s official website for the Caribbean and Latin American countries.

Samsung’s website lists model number SM-A725M hinting at Galaxy A72 but does not reveal specifications of the phone. The upcoming phone will be a successor to Galaxy A71 (review) and is expected to be available in both 5G and 4G variants.

Samsung Galaxy A72 Expected Features

Samsung Galaxy A72 is expected to arrive with a 6.7-inch punch-hole display housing a front camera. Seeing the trends of mid-range phones, it could feature an AMOLED panel and narrow bezels around the screen. Samsung could include a 64MP quad rear camera setup and an LED flash arranged in a rectangular fashion.

The Galaxy A72 images that surfaced online explain that the volume and power button are placed on the right edge of the phone. The Type-C charging port along with the microphone and speaker have been given at the bottom. A claim made by a popular Twitter handle reveals that Galaxy A72 will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

The 4G variant could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset and the 5G variant by the Snapdragon 750G chipset. Also, the phone will allegedly be IPv6 rated for water resistance properties.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy A72 is obviously isn’t out yet and we are guessing it should cost around INR 30,000 in India.
