Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) And A5 (2018) Likely To Have Bluetooth 5.0 Support

Samsung’s new A series phone has been in the rumours for some time for all the right reasons. According to latest reports, Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) both will be powered by a new Samsung’s Exynos 7885 processor. Recently, the chipset has received Bluetooth SIG certification suggesting that launch date of these phones is getting closer.

As per the Bluetooth SIG certification, the Exynos 7885 chipset is compatible with latest Bluetooth 5.0. The key highlight of Bluetooth 5.0 is its ability to achieve faster transfer rate, better connectivity, more power efficient and multiple devices streaming support.

The Exynos 7885 SoC will be carrying support for Bluetooth 5.0 that enables faster data transfer by consuming less power. It also brings an ability to connect multiple devices to a phone. The Exynos 7885 chipset is reportedly based on 14nm manufacturing process and comes with eight cores of which six cores are of Cortex A53 and remaining two are of Cortex A73. It also comes with Mail-G71 GPU for better graphics.

Recently, 2018 edition of the Galaxy A5 came to news as it appeared on online leak with Snapdragon 660 chipset. Some even reported that the South Korean giant could be introducing a Snapdragon variant in markets such as the U.S. and China whereas the Exynos version will be hitting stores in counties like India and European nations.

One of the key highlights of the Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy A5 (2018) will be their premium Infinity Display design similar to the Galaxy S8 and S8+ phones. The rumour has it, that the Galaxy A7 (2018) could feature 6 GB of RAM whereas the A5 (2018) could come with 4 GB of RAM. Samsung is also expected to add a dedicated button for its Bixby assistant. The renders with have been surfacing time and again suggest dual selfie camera. Like Samsung Galaxy Note 8, it could also feature a fingerprint scanner on the rear side. Samsung is expected to unveil these devices at the start from 2018.
